New Jersey's State Little League champion team is heading to Connecticut for a chance to play in the Little League World Series.
The 11- and 12-year-olds from the Jackson Holbrook team are receiving a champion's sendoff and heading to Connecticut to take part in regional action this weekend.
If they win this tournament, it's off to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the next round.
They will have to defeat Connecticut on Saturday and possibly both the New York and Rhode Island state champions as well.
First pitch for Jackson Holbrook is 4 p.m. Saturday against Connecticut.
