State legislators are pushing for the passage of the Electric Vehicle Bill, which they say would ease the transition to greener travel through New Jersey.
The bill would expand electric vehicle plug-in infrastructure and increase rebates for buying electric vehicles.
Sen. Linda Greenstein says New Jersey needs charging stations that mirror what gas station visits entail. Greenstein was joined alongside assemblymen Dan Benson and Wayne DeAngelo to call for the legislation.
