Let News 12 New Jerseyis your connection to First Night celebrations around the Garden State.Here's a list of family fun events in your area: ESSEX COUNTYMontclair - 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Montclair offers an alternative to thetraditional New Year's Eve. Their First Night program is filled witharts and entertainment for everyone in the heart of Montclair'sbustling downtown. MORRIS COUNTY Morristown - Once again New Jersey's largest New Year's Eve celebrationof the arts offers something for everyone. Bring your familyand friends or come alone. An admission button gives youaccess to all performances at 25 venues throughout Morristown and twospectacular fireworks displays - at 9:15 pm and Midnight. Experienceunlimited music, dance, theater - even basketball and face painting.Admission is $18 in advance; $20 at the gate. No charge for children 4and under. Bring them out to First Night Ocean County inSeaside Heights sponsored by the Lakewood BlueClaws. Cost of $5 per bracelet.There will be a musical variety show by Yosi, performances by the Giveand Take Jugglers, and an illusion show with John Bundy &Morgan, in addition to children's shows, face painters, balloonists,and caricature portrait drawings in each of the participating arcadesalong the boardwalk.
