Byram police say they arrested a man for driving while intoxicated after they received a call about a suspicious car in a ShopRite parking lot on Saturday.
Police say when they arrived at the parking lot, they found a car with its brake lights on up against the curb. That's when they say they found Bruno Fredes, of Newton, sleeping behind the wheel.
Authorities say Fredes appeared intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to the station where he refused to submit to breath tests, according to police.
Fredes faces several charges, including DWI, careless driving and reckless driving.
