A Newark veterinarian is charged with several counts of animal cruelty for allegedly mistreating dogs under his care.
Ehren Yablon, of Hillside, is accused of neglecting proper care for four dogs brought into Newark Veterinary Hospital for varying conditions.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II says each dog later died.
Yablon allegedly charged the owners for services he never performed.
Acting Attorney General Matthew Platkin has filed to temporarily suspend Yablon's license to practice.
