Newark police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men accused of aggravated assault.

Police say an injured man walked into the Market Street precinct on Monday to report that he had been beaten up by two men on Ferry Street. The victim told the police that the men hit him in the head with an object after he confronted the suspects about making derogatory comments about him. The men then ran away from the area and drove away in a white vehicle.

Police say the victim was sent to the hospital in stable condition.
