Newark officials say authorities are searching for suspects responsible for beating and robbing a delivery driver last month.
According to officials, three suspects broke into the driver's car while he was inside a business making a delivery on the 300 block of Clinton Place on May 14. The suspects then began removing boxes from the man's vehicle. When the delivery driver came back outside and approached them, he was punched to the ground and repeatedly kicked by three people. They left the scene in a 2011 Kia Sorrento which has since been recovered by police.
Authorities say they are now searching for Dijuan Johnson, 27, for questioning in connection with the robbery. Johnson is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds.
