Newark police helped reunite a child who has autism with his family last week.
Video captured the encounter Monday between police and the 11-year-old boy, who had wandered away from home.
The child was spotted by two people who saw him near the 800 block of South 20th Street. They then called police.
The officers took the boy to the child to the hospital where he was later reunited with his family.
