The president and CEO of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority announced Tuesday that he is stepping down from his powerful post.
George Zoffinger told the Associated Press that he will retire from his $195,000-a-year-job after Governor Jon Corzine (D-NJ) names a successor. Zoffinger has held the position for five years.
The sports authority runs the Meadowlands Sports Complex that is home to the Jets, Giants, Nets, Devils and the state?s top horse track.
