New Jersey is lifting its pause on indoor sports.
The change takes effect Saturday nearly a month after the order was put into place.
Gov. Phil Murphy cited the stability in the state's COVID-19 numbers as the reason to make the move.
"Given the safety protocols that we have in place and the stability in numbers over the last month, although stability at an uncomfortably high level, we feel confident moving forward by continuing to deal with outbreaks or other issues on an individual case basis as opposed to a blanket prohibition," says Murphy.
All interstate youth competition remains on hold for now.
