There were 18 Powerball winners in the state Wednesday night.
Four tickets won $2 million, while 14 others won $1 million each. All the winners were from various counties throughout New Jersey, ranging from Atlantic to Passaic and other counties in between.
According to the Multi-State Lottery Association, many players decided their numbers from a vertical column on their play slips - and despite one in 11 million odds, many won big.
