Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino says he has sights set on future run for New Jersey governor
The reality TV star said he is putting his TV career on pause to focus on opening more rehab centers and, eventually, politics.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino says he has his sights set on running for New Jersey governor in the near future.
Sorrentino made the comment Thursday night at the VUE Magazine spring edition party in Wall Township. He and his wife, Lauren, are on the cover of the magazine, where they discuss their growth and success together.
"As husband and wife, we like to be on the path of self-improvement which is mentally, physically, spiritually, personally and professionally. Any negativity we like to get rid of and that is a lifelong journey that we love to be on," Sorrentino said.
Jason Underberg, publisher and founder of VUE Magazine, said Sorrentino’s story fits the magazine’s mission.
"He's got the greatest comeback story and so to have Mike on the cover and to see everything he's doing is really aspirational. And I think it's a great definition of what this magazine stands for," Underberg said.
Sorrentino told News 12’s Lauren Due and Syma Chowdhry that he is putting his reality TV career on pause to focus on opening more 'Archangel' rehab centers before turning his attention to politics.
