New ParkStage outdoor concert venue to open at Freehold Fairgrounds
The Monmouth County venue can hold 8,500 people and will host acts including Sublime, Little Steven Van Zandt and The B-52s.

A new outdoor concert venue called ParkStage is opening at the Freehold Fairgrounds.
The venue can hold 8,500 people, mostly standing. There is also a spot in the back where guests can bring a blanket.
Parking is free.
Shows planned for this summer include Little Steven Van Zandt, Andy Grammer, The B-52s, Jason Isbell and more.
ParkStage is a collaboration between Monmouth County and the Count Basie Center.
The venue opens with a soft launch on June 3. The first ticketed show, Sublime, is scheduled for June 19.
