A new report is out of 2020’s Most & Least Educated States in America, and New Jersey was ranked in the top 10 of most educated states in the U.S.
According to the
report done by WalletHub, New Jersey was ranked ninth overall.
The website compared all 50 states across 18 key metrics, such as looking at the level and quality of education.
The report ranked the Garden State first in gender gap in educational attainment, fourth in percentage of bachelor's degree holders, and seventh in percentage of graduate or professional-degree holders.
Massachusetts finished as the most educated state, followed by Maryland and Colorado.
Mississippi ranked last.
