Members of the Muslim community gathered in Monmouth Junction Monday morning to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
The holiday marks the end of the holy time of Ramadan. It is a time where Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
“It means a lot to be able to come back here during Ramadan and come together with my brothers and sisters. It makes going through the month easier, much easier,” says Arsh Anwari, of South Brunswick.
The prayer gathering was hosted by the Islamic Society of Central Jersey.
