New Jersey gamblers are still dreaming big, but spending more realistically on lotto tickets.
A lotto spokesman says sales are down between 1 and 2 percent this fiscal year. New Jersey lotto sales are down despite Tuesday?s $145 million jackpot drawing.
Local lotto dealers say customers would typically be lined out the door for a jackpot the size of Tuesday?s, but due to the recession, patrons are only trickling in.
