Monroe Mayor Stephen Dalina announced the Meadowview Care Center, which is a long-term care center in town, has been closed for good -- three weeks after a woman was beaten to death.
Mayor Dalina says the center posed a threat to residents and the community, and was in poor condition.            
Dalina says there were numerous incidents of improper operation, plus staff and safety issues.
