New Jersey is ranked in the Top 10 for the 2026 Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the nation, according to a list by the U.S. News & World Report.

Ambulatory surgical centers are outpatient health care facilities that specialize in same day surgeries and procedures such as colonoscopies, hip and knee replacements and cataract surgery. These are services that typically don’t require overnight stays.

New Jersey has 40 locations that were considered the best ASCs for 2026.
