New Haven man accused in fatal shooting at Town Fair Tire in Orange

A 24-year-old man from New Haven is accused of fatally shooting another New Haven man inside one of the service bays of Town Fair Tire in Orange, police say.

A 24-year-old man from New Haven is accused of fatally shooting another New Haven man inside one of the service bays of Town Fair Tire in Orange, police say.
The incident occurred around 8:50 a.m. Saturday at 63 Boston Post Rd.
According to Orange police, Joshwua Figueroa, 27, was shot multiple times by Terrance Allen, 24.
Allen was working at the time when he was confronted by the victim. Police say he immediately fled the scene after the shooting, and failed to turn himself in after police made phone contact with him.
The suspect was taken into custody at a local hotel just after 9 p.m. with the assistance of the Branford Police Department. He had an outstanding warrant in New Haven for violation of probation and on weapons charges related to the earlier incident at Town Fair Tire. 
The nature of the dispute and the relationship between the two men is still under investigation. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call Orange police at 203-891-2130.
