The primary for Senate is just around the corner, and a new poll takes an early look at who's in the lead as a first lady and a sitting congressman try to take out Sen. Bob Menendez in a highly scrutinized race in New Jersey.

A new Fairleigh Dickinson University poll shows first lady Tammy Murphy trailing behind Democratic Rep. Andy Kim. He leads Murphy 32 to 20 among likely Democratic primary voters, according to the poll.

FDU polled likely primary voters in the democratic party, but about 30% remain undecided.

Menendez, who is facing federal charges, holds just under 10% of voters, the poll states.
