Officials at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission say that the agency’s computer system is back in working order after going down Saturday.
The state Information Technology system that malfunctioned is used by all state agencies. Technicians worked throughout the weekend to repair the problems, according to officials.
Officials said that most of the system was working by Monday morning, but the MVC computer system that processes payments remained out of service until the afternoon.
Further details on what caused the server problems have not been disclosed.
