The Motor Vehicle Commission mobile unit was in Nutley on Thursday.
The unit provided a convenient way for residents in need of services to get their issues addressed. People were able to get licenses and non-driver identification cards renewed and get their cars inspected.
“People love the mobile units because they can get services right in their town. They prefer the mobile unit to going to the agency, because they don't have to drive far. That really does help the community and the customers get what they need done,” says MVC Legislative Affairs Director Chris Hillmann.
The mobile units make their way through local communities all over the state.
