A multi-vehicle crash closed some lanes and caused major delays on the New Jersey Turnpike Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. in the southbound truck lanes in South Brunswick.
New Jersey state police did not reveal many details about the crash, but views from Chopper 12 showed a box truck on its side and the cab of another truck detached from its trailer. It was not clear if anyone was hurt.
The crashed closed multiple truck lanes for a time. Most of the lanes have since been reopened, but residual traffic delays were to be expected into the evening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
