Dr. David Duncan is running an investigational study on progressive MS at Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute.
His patient, Michael O'Grady, is living with a form of progressive MS and is taking part.
"Maybe this trial helps me, maybe it doesn't. But maybe this trial will help someone else out there," said O'Grady.
O'Grady is hopeful this study will help those facing the diagnoses in the future.
