WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The road to warmer temperatures has begun. New Jersey will continue to see temperatures in the 40s through Sunday. Then 50-degree days arrive. The majority of the work and school week will see high temperatures in the low 50s. This is a delightful stretch of more pleasant temperatures. Low temperatures are also warming up and will be well above freezing by Tuesday night and continue through the work week.
The end of the weekend will finish with more clouds. However, New Jersey remains dry. The rest of Saturday evening and the overnight is dry too. The next rain chance is a brief sprinkle chance on Tuesday evening for parts of Northern New Jersey. The next precipitation chance is more widespread for Thursday and it looks to be mainly in the form of rain. Other than those two rain opportunities, There will be a more mellow weather pattern for the week. The rest of weekend remains dry and warm. There will be a decent amount of sunshine this week.
