Officials in Dover, Morris County say restaurants there will have to continue closing for indoor dining at 10 p.m., saying it is necessary to ensure “health, safety and welfare.”
The news comes as a new state executive order allows restaurants to stay open past 10 p.m. Gov. Phil Murphy said municipalities and counties could still put in place their own restrictions on hours of operation.
The town will comply with New Jersey’s relaxed indoor restrictions increasing indoor dining capacity limits from 25% to 35%.
