Hundreds of National Guard soldiers from New Jersey reported for duty Thursday.More than 2,800 soldiers from the 50th Infantry Brigade combat team are being deployed in the largest deployment in the Garden State since World War II.The soldiers will first head to Texas before going to Iraq. They'll be away from home for one year.Anna Orzol's husband is heading to Iraq for the first time. As he got on the bus, she told News 12 New Jersey that it was harder than she expected and that her two young children weren't able to understand why their father was leaving. She said she will try to make it through each day as best she can.
