A Montgomery man is asking for the public’s help to find his 6-year-old son’s dirt bikes that he says were recently stolen.
Brian Toland says he noticed the lock at his storage unit on Factory Street in Montgomery was broken last Wednesday and that four bikes, worth $15,000, were gone. He says he was last at the unit on Monday and that the bikes were there at that time.
Toland says he filed a report with Village of Montgomery police but hasn’t had the heart to tell his son, Christian.
“It’s heartbreaking. He didn’t do anything to anybody,” says Toland. “It’s tough and hard to swallow, you know, that those kinds of people are out there.”
Toland is offering a $2,000 reward for the return of the bikes or a $4,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call Village of Montgomery police at 845-457-3666.
