The Monroe Township High School band is leaving Monday to play at the 75th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor.
The band got a sendoff salute on Saturday.
A band from each state was selected to play at the events surrounding the anniversary.
"I love this country a lot, and having the opportunity to perform for such a prestigious event, it's absolutely mind blowing," says drum major Mitchell Joseph.
The band will perform Armed services medleys, and a series of Patriotic songs.
They will stay in Hawaii until Friday.
The group was actually invited in 2015, and the school has been planning for this ever since.
