Monroe parents are demanding answers about the suspensions of two Masuk football coaches.
Parents say the coaching investigation has gone on long enough.
"The people who can fix this are sitting in there," said Masuk football parent Nicole Conti.
Masuk football parents stood outside the superintendent's office Monday in protest, wondering why football coaches Steve Christy and Eric Giordano were suspended and when they can come back.
"We have all these questions that we have not just about what's going on with the investigation but why has there not been any resolution, why has there been no communication," said Masuk football parent Diana Champagne.
The superintendent's office Monday declined to comment.
Parents believe this all started back in June with a police report.
The report says a parent claimed the coaches were covering up abusive behavior and criminal activity involving minors.
Those allegations have been investigated by the school system with no resolution, and parents say they and their children have been left in the dark.
"We weren't told why they were suspended nor were the coaches. We were given a broad statement that it was culture related," said Conti.
At the last Board of Education meeting three weeks ago, parents voiced their displeasure again.
"When you go to these Board of Ed meetings you sit there, you ask the questions because you have the public participation, but they all sit there with stone faced looks, there's never a response," said Champagne.
Masuk football has two regular season games left.
The Panthers last home game is this Friday night on "Senior Night."
Parents say the Monroe Police and the Department of Children and Family services have been involved in this case but there are no further details.
Interim coaches have been filling in.
The Board of Education is holding a special meeting Monday night about the investigation before its regularly scheduled meeting.
