A Monmouth County charity handed out a thousand care packages
to homeless people in the Garden State.
Anderson’s Meet the Need held its sixth Friends Feed the
Homeless initiative at three different sites, including one in Neptune.
The organization handed out food, along
with items to keep residents warm during the cold weather.
Meet the Need President Reggie Anderson says they needed to
help the people who are out in the cold 24/7.
Volunteers gave out bags filled with cold-weather
essentials like blankets, hats, gloves and scarves.
