Dozens of geese took up residence in Lake Como and the town wanted them gone using nonlethal methods.
In 2022, the neighboring town of Spring Lake upset some residents when they found out lethal methods were being used to get rid of the geese at some other lakes. The geese have not come back to Lake Como - and it's all because of Galaxy, a trained German Shepherd herding dog.
