Monday was a big day for sports fans across New Jersey.
The Mets even up the NCLS, the Yankees took on the Guardians in Game 1 of the ACLS, and the Jets hosted the Bills in their first game after firing head coach
Robert Saleh.
Jets and Bills fans were seen tailgating at Metlife Stadium ahead of the game while watching the Mets take on the Dodgers.
"It's probably the biggest game of the season for both of the teams, we're kind of battling for first place right now,” said Bills fan Mathew Yonkz.
Mets fan Michael Slays bought his own TV to watch the baseball game while waiting for the Jets to start.
“I’m a huge Mets fan first and foremost,” Slays said. "We're excited out here to watch the game and we wanted to pay tribute to the New York fans and the New York teams."
