Hundreds of young soccer players from across the tri-state took part in Youth Soccer Day on Wednesday.
New York/New Jersey Host Committee for the 2026 FIFA World Cup held the event at MetLife Stadium.
The event included dynamic training activities led by the U.S. Soccer Foundation, which focused on dribbling, passing and scoring.
"I love that fact that people work so hard to go to Olympics and the World Cup,” said Cresskill’s OIivia Imahiyerobo. “And I just really love the sport, it's just so fun to play."
MetLife Stadium will host eight matches for the World Cup, including the final.
