Memorial services were held in Middletown Sunday in advance of the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks.
Thirty-seven Middletown residents were killed in the attacks. Families of the victims gathered together at the Leonardo Marina where a permanent memorial lies, inscribed with the victims? names.
Boy scouts from Troop 242 also attended the ceremony. James Tomassullo, 16, says he has a much better understanding of the attacks and its impact on so many people.
