An autopsy performed on a Princeton student whose body was discovered on campus has ruled her death was a suicide.
Misrach Ewunetie’s body was discovered behind the university’s tennis courts on Oct. 20 after being missing for a few days. She was 20.
The Middlesex Regional Medical Examiner’s Office performed the autopsy, who ruled it a suicide, with the cause of death “Bupropion, Escitalopram and Hydroxyzine toxicity.”
Ewunetie’s disappearance launched an extensive search by air and watercraft. University officials said in a statement, “Misrach’s death is an unthinkable tragedy. Our hearts go out to her family, her friends and the many others who knew and loved her.”
