A hand-crafted wedding ring lost nearly 2 years ago washed up on shore: A wedding ring engraved with the image of a surfer was lost while surfing almost two years ago, and over the weekend, the ring washed up on the shore and was reunited with its owner. Chris Jones went surfing back in October of 2018 in Deal, and experienced the sinking feeling when something valuable goes missing. A hand-crafted wedding ring engraved with the image of a surfer slipped off his finger to never be seen again – until now.
Up-and-coming Brooklyn rapper Nick Blixky was fatally shot blocks from his home: Police say officers arrived at 200 Winthrop St. around 9:30 p.m. and found the 21-year-old with several gunshot wounds. The rapper, whose real name was Nickalus Thomspon, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/King County, where he was later pronounced dead. It is unclear if Thompson knew the shooter and there was no word on a possible motive.
