Nina Kharoufeh, a comedian who is also a matchmaker on TLC's new dating show "Match Me Abroad,” will have her chance in the boxing ring - all for a good cause.
Kharoufeh is a Palestinian-American from New Jersey. In about two weeks, she'll box in a ring to raise money for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, a nonprofit that provides medical care for kids in Palestine. So far, she’s surpassed her $10,000 goal.
"I decided to raise money for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund prior to all this going down. So, this is a really good time to help the people back home,” she said.
The fight is Nov. 2 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. To donate, visit haymakersforhope.org.
