A massive hiring fair featuring more than 130 federal, state, county, and municipal agencies is returning to Kean University on Wednesday.
Hosted by the Union County Prosecutor’s Office in partnership with Kean University, the recruitment event will draw agencies from across the region — including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Georgia, and Washington, D.C.
Recruiters are looking for a “new generation” of talent to fill critical roles within the justice system, including law enforcement officers, legal professionals, forensic scientists, and administrative staff, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Last year’s fair drew thousands of participants and led to hundreds of hires, and organizers hope to build on that success.
“As we look toward the future, we are seeking a new generation of professionals who realize that justice is a team effort,” Union County Prosecutor William Daniel said. “This event is not only for those who want to wear a badge; it is for the legal minds, the forensic experts, and the administrative specialists who want to serve their community.”
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Harwood Arena at Kean University in Union Township.
