A man threatened an employee with a knife during a robbery at a West Deptford movie theater early last week.

Police said the suspect walked into the AMC 8 on Clements Road around 1:30 a.m. Thursday while armed with a knife.

Authorities said the employee was the only person inside the building at the time.

The suspect left after realizing there was no money to steal, police said.

The employee was not hurt.

Police released a surveillance image showing a masked man and are asking for help identifying the suspect.
