A man is recovering Tuesday in a Newark hospital after being hit by two cars, according to officials.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé says this happened near Norfolk and West Market streets around 6:30 a.m. Officials say the driver of the first car stayed on scene, but the other driver drove off.
The man is currently in stable condition at University Hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
