A man on Wisconsin's "Most Wanted" list has been arrested in Secaucus after he was stopped following a traffic stop on Route 3 East.
According to authorities, police stopped a Honda Odyssey Thursday for a broken brake light. Police arrested the passenger, Jordy Javier-Laureano, 39, of Milwaukee, after running a check for outstanding warrants.
News reports out of Milwaukee say Javier-Laureano was a fugitive from justice on the charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 16 that led to pregnancy.
Javier-Laureano was charged by Secaucus police with being a fugitive from justice. He is being held at Hudson County jail, pending extradition back to Wisconsin.
The driver of the vehicle was issued a summons.
