A 72-year-old man was killed in a fire Saturday at a Newark senior living apartment complex.

Flames broke out shortly before 2 p.m. at a building at Saint Mary's Villa on Sanford Avenue.

Fire officials say William Fulmore was killed.

The flames were contained to one building.

Firefighters reported no other injuries at the complex, which is made up of two five-story buildings totaling 360 units.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
