Officials say one man was hospitalized with injuries described as non-life threating after two boats collided in the Sandy Hook Channel.
Coast Guard officials say the accident involved two recreational boats and occurred about a half-mile from the tip of Sandy Hook on Sunday afternoon.
A 20-foot vessel sustained damage to its starboard quarter after it was struck by a 25-foot boat, which sustained only minimal damage.
Officials say four people were aboard the boat that was hit and three people were passengers on the other vessel.
A man on the 20-foot boat was transported to Monmouth Medical Center, where he was treated for a cut on his arm and back pain.
New Jersey State Police cited one boater for failure to maintain a lookout.
