Police say a man found dead in a movie theater's parking lot has been identified as someone wanted in the killing of his wife.
The body of 39-year-old Steve Franklin, of Jersey City, was discovered at the AMC Loews off Route 1 Sunday afternoon.
"Man found dead in New Brunswick is believed to be husband wanted in murder of wife in Jersey City," the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office tweeted.
Authorities had issued an arrest warrant for Franklin on Friday, charging him with the murder of his wife a day earlier in their Jersey City home.
Police responding to a domestic dispute report found 38-year-old Sineka Davis unresponsive with a gunshot wound to her chest inside the home.
Police say a preliminary investigation suggests Franklin took his own life, but autopsy results are pending.
