An autopsy is expected to be performed on the body of a 61-year-old man who was found dead in Howell Friday afternoon.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office says Weldon Spaulding Jr. was found dead in the parking lot of Home Depot off of Route 9.

Spaulding, from Tinton Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Howell police say the death is considered suspicious, but there is no danger to the community.
