A Mountainside man found a piece of history among his late mother's belongings.
Gary Whyte says he was going through some of his mother's things and found a box labeled "Photos." Inside the box was a New York Times article dated April 16, 1912. The article described the sinking of the Titanic.
Whyte had the article verified as authentic and loaned it to the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, which just so happened to be having a Titanic artifacts exhibit.
