Authorities say a man from Manchester Township has been charged with killing his 85-year-old mother.

According to authorities, Thomas Foster, 63, was charged with killing Carolyn Foster.

Investigators previously believed Foster died of natural causes at her home back in January.

But a family member later came forward and reported Thomas was responsible for his mother's death.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office reopened the case, and announced charges against Thomas soon after.
