Brick police say a man was burned when a boat he was working on caught fire Monday afternoon.
No other injuries were reported in the accident, which occurred at around 2:30 p.m. at Lightning Jack's Marina. It's not clear what caused the fire, but authorities say the incident is not considered suspicious.
The burn victim, identified only as a 39-year-old Toms River man, was flown to St. Barnabas Burn Center in Livingston. Details on his condition were not disclosed.
The accident is under investigation by Brick police and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
