(AP) - A central New Jersey man has admitted that he sexually assaulted a toddler and recorded the attack.
Monmouth County prosecutors say 23-year-old Kevin Motyka, of Howell Township, pleaded guilty Monday to several charges, including aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment. The pleas were made public Tuesday.
Prosecutors say Motyka was arrested last year following an investigation that was spurred by tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. They said Motyka sexually assaulted a 2-year-old boy between May and December 2012, and created photographs and video recordings of the attacks.
Motyka faces a 13-year prison term when he's sentenced June 5. He also must register as a sex offender and will have to serve five years of supervised release once he's freed from prison.
